SOP: How to provide a quote for trip that doesn't have a published rate when you have some time (Preferred)

This wiki provides a step-by-step approach to providing a quote that allows the client to book the service for themselves online immediately upon receiving the response.

1. Copy the pickup and dropoff zones from the "custom quote" email.
2. Go to maps.google.ca and paste the pickup zone into one field and the drop off field into the other. Perform a "driving time" search.
3. Multiply the driving time by 2 and then with the hourly rate for vehicle type (Driving Time X Hourly Rate X 2). NOTE(S): If driving time is less than 1/2hr round up to 1/2 hour. The following rates are as of September 2022
   • Taxi: $85.00
   • Luxury Sedan: $90.00
   • Luxury SUV: $105.00
   • 10 Passenger Van: $120.00
   • Stretch Limousine: $120.00
   • Minibus: $150.00
4. Open https://www.ridebooker.com/admin.php/trip_rate
5. Click the blue "Filter[Off]" button on the far left on the top bar.
6. Paste the first 5 letters of the pickup zone into "Start Zone:" and add % right after it.
7. Paste the first 5 letters of the dropoff zone into "End Zone:" and add % right after it.
8. Click Filter.
9. Select all the basic vehicles on that route (taxi, sedan, suv, 10pax, stretch, minibus) and click "bulk update".
10. Choose "Online Booking: Enabled", "Active: Yes", "Partner: {Partner Listed for the Area in Zoho}, and click "Set as Default". This will activate all the vehicles on the route requested.
11. Click the magnifying glass beside each of the newly updated rates and scroll down the "prices".
12. Click edit on the price and input the result of the equation above.
13. Once saved go back up to the top bar and click "Trip Rates" on the "Rates & Schedules" tab which will take you back to the filtered list you are working on to update other rates.
14. When you have finished one direction click the blue "Filter[Off]" button on the far left on the top bar and reverse the "Start Zone" and "End Zone" fields and repeat actions 8 through 13 for the other direction.
15. When all the rates are updated go back to the original quote and use https://ridebooker.zendesk.com/agent/admin/macros/7898326183437 to provide a price quote with a link to the page for the client to book.

This allows you to both provide a quote and set-up the route so you don't have to quote in the future. This SOP should take 15 minutes.
